Monuments Men

Amazing book!.

I was pleased to find this well-researched book about the men (and women) who attempted the rescue of the looted art masterpieces of Europe from the Nazis. At times the pace slowed enough to almost, but not quite, lose my interest.

I had a very hard time getting into the book. While the personal history of the MFAA officers is important, I found it so uninteresting.
